Q:  What are your hours of operation?
A:  General operating hours are: M-Th 6 am – 6 pm, F 6 am – 5 pm
Will Call hours are: M-F 6 am – 5 pm
If you need to reach us during non-operational hours, please call, if we are here, we’ll pick up.

Q:  Are you open on weekends or holidays?
A:  No, we are not open on weekends. We are closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Q:  When should I place my order if there is a holiday during the work week?
A:  Try to order at least one day prior to your normal ordering day.

Q:  Do you deliver on weekends?
A:  As a general rule, we do not; however, special requests are occasionally fulfilled to accommodate our customers in emergency situations. We try our best to keep each customer happy.

Q:  What days do you deliver to my city?
A:  We deliver to different cities on different days. Please click here for a complete list of delivery days/locations.

Q:  Do you have a delivery charge?
A:  With a $300 minimum order there is no delivery charge, however; as always, Viele & Sons exercises the right to be flexible with individual customers. There is no minimum charge on will call pickups.

Q:  Do you have a fuel surcharge on deliveries?
A:  No.

Q:  Can you deliver the same day?
A:  Normally we do not deliver the same day. The order will be delivered according to your city’s delivery schedule.

Q:  Why didn’t I receive the product brand I ordered?
A:  If an item is out of stock in our warehouse, Viele & Sons will try to ship an item of equal value to fill the order. We always strive to keep our supplies well stocked in order to avoid this issue, but it does occasionally happen.

Q:  When will my item be in stock?
A:  Viele & Sons receives deliveries on a daily basis. If an item is out of stock, we usually restock within 24-48 hours.

Q:  What brands do you carry?
A:  Viele & Sons carries most major brands. Please review our products to see if we carry what you are looking for. If you can’t find what you need, let us know! We also carry packer items which vary on quality, pricing and availability.

Q:  How can I obtain pricing?
A:  Call 714-447-FOOD (3663) to speak to a customer service representative or a salesperson. We are happy to provide price quotes on any items you need in a timely manner.

Q:  Is it possible to get a better price on the products I need?
A:  Viele & Sons always strives to provide our customers competitive pricing and quality products. Please discuss your pricing questions with your salesperson or customer service representative. The quantity purchased on a single item may affect the ability to obtain lower pricing. Also, fill in the Contact Us form to be added to our email mailing list.

Q:  What new items do you have?
A:  Viele & Sons is constantly updating our inventory to provide quality items with competitive prices. Ask your salesperson or customer service representative if you are interested in hearing about new items or inquiring about a product that you are interested in.

Q:  What exactly is a “foodservice distributor”?
A:  A foodservice distributor is a company that provides food and non-food products to restaurants, cafeterias, industrial caterers, hospitals and nursing homes.
